Summary: We stayed three nights at the Lisboa Carmo Hotel after disembarking from our cruise ship. We arrived at the hotel very early in the morning (8:30 AM) and were delighted to find that a room was available for us. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. We were very tired the first night so we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. I don’t remember what we ate but it was very good quality and our server was wonderful. Breakfast is included and it is excellent as noted by other reviewers. My only complaint is that the restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast until 7:30 so we were only able to enjoy it once during our stay at the hotel. Our room was clean and our bed was excellent. The room was a comfortable temperature with the air conditioning on but I recommend using the upright oscillating fan to improve air circulation. We weren’t able to get many international channels on the TV which appeared to be an Internet streaming platform. Everything in the bathroom worked well. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Lisboa Hotel Carmo!
