Summary: We were a little nervous about booking a hotel that had only been open for about a month, but we’re so glad we took the chance—our stay was truly phenomenal. After seeing several other properties around La Fortuna during tour pickups, nothing came close to the serenity, luxury, and overall atmosphere of this place. From the stunning grounds to the beautiful art throughout, it just feels special. The gated entrance is a lovely touch and really adds to the sense of privacy and luxury. The hospitality truly stands out: thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely personal. The grounds are immaculate, with natural beauty everywhere you look. The food is excellent, and every detail feels intentional. We loved meeting Kevin, Johan, Yeraldin, Andrés, Allison, Fabiola, and the rest of the team who made us feel more like family than guests. The Sanctuarium far exceeded our expectations and was the perfect way to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
