Positive: I recently stayed at The Home of Istanbul for five nights. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good bedding and a large TV. The location is convenient, and the presence of a helpful concierge and an elevator made my stay easier, especially after surgery.

Negative: However, there were several significant issues that impacted my experience. The apartment was poorly stocked for a two-bedroom, five-night stay: only two rolls of toilet paper were provided, and basic kitchen items were missing, such as proper glasses and cups, and essential condiments like salt and pepper. The fridge was broken (though the freezer worked), and I was not informed in advance. Heating was also not functioning, and I had to request a second portable heater. Lighting was harsh and unwelcoming, as there were no lamps, only overhead lights. I also could not mirror devices to the TV, and no HDMI cables were available. Breakfast was not included, which was disappointing compared to my previous stay. Overall, the apartment is fine and comfortable, and I would consider staying here again. However, small, inexpensive improvements—such as providing lamps, better kitchen supplies, sufficient toilet paper, and basic condiments—would make a huge difference. The current setup felt less like a home and more like a bare rental.
