Summary: Every now and then when travelling you find a gem of a hotel, and the Captain’s Inn at Abu Tig Marina, El Gouna, Egypt is a gem. For a three star hotel it deserves far more than a star. A warm welcome met me from a staff that has treated me like family. For a single woman travelling alone that is like gold. A great room overlooking a charming courtyard, the room was spotless and has a great fridge with cold drinks and snacks. Separate toilet and shower from the bedroom also. A very comfortable bed.
