Positive: This was a wonderful 4 day stay in Siwa in a private home in a double room accomodation. The owner of the property, Bianca, is an amazing woman who manages the lovely home with the the help of Omar, her assistant. They are located out of town a bit, amidst the palm trees and verdant gardens which provide not only beauty and fragrance, but also the fresh produce and herbs she uses to make amazing fresh salads and teas for the daily breakfasts provided for her guests. Spellbound is Siwa is a beautiful and romantic place to stay. It should be noted that there are stairs to navigate to get up to the rooms and that the refrigerator and dining area for guests is located downstairs. So for elderly or disabled guests, this may be a bit difficult. Bianca and Omar made the stay easy, however, by providing room service for my husband and myself to make everything as comfortable as possible. The views from the room were amazing, day and night. The room was clean and lovely. Guests should be aware that it is somewhat expensive to get from the guesthouse in to town for dinner and also for transport to and from the historical sites in Siwa. But the expense is well worth it to stay in this beautiful place. We plan to visit again!
