Summary: This is a review of Riad l’Empire, which is managed / owned by the same people. Reason the review is against this Riad is that we booked Riad Melilo, but for unforeseen circumstances this Riad had to be shut during August. We were offered Riad l’ empire as an alternative. Probably a bit pointless describing the property as it won’t relate to the pictures, but we had a fabulous time, and can’t recommend enough. Leila and Aziza were fantastic hosts - Aziza’s breakfasts were terrific, and Leila was on hand to help with organising day trips and generally guiding us through what can be an overwhelming city. The Riad was an oasis of air conditioned calm among the hustle and bustle, and the roof terrace is a fantastic space to gaze over the city. Terrific value, and if we’re ever back in Marrakech, this Riad will be at the top of our list. David, Emma, Oliver and Chloe
