Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Kindness and service by the owners and the stuff. Character of the interior. Breakfast was great. Owner was very accommodating on our booking allowing cancellation of one night with no penalty.

Negative: Whilst the property is in the medina, it is not located in a nice area of it - it feels very dirty once you step outside and until you reach more tourist friendly areas. At night it feels unsafe. Dust on shelves in the room with the safe and coffee machine broken. Water spilling from everywhere in the shower rather than the shower head itself. clay tiles on the floor of the room were dirty. Lamp in the bedside table not working. Mattresses of the sofabeds very uncomfortable. Lack of natural light in the room and in the property throughout with bad artificial light. Not a great atmosphere. Plants in the reception area were pathetic and almost dead. Restoration work in common areas.
