Summary: This is a beautiful, exquisite riad - the plants and flowers in the courtyard along with the adorable parrot who sings sweetly was so fun. We really enjoyed our room, the entrance to which was from the main floor, and it entered into a small room with a desk and sofa, and there was a separate bathroom/shower with a separate door. To reach the bedroom, one must go up some very steep and narrow stairs. This could be hard for someone elderly or with weak knees. However there are plenty of lights and light switches that we found helfpul so we don't trip. The bed, as beautiful as it was, was the hardest bed that we experienced during our 11 days across Morocco. We tossed and turned a bit. We definitely recommend this riad to everyone, but just be prepared with the bed. Location-wise, the riad is very close to the Al-Ziyat gate (which is not a main gate, but where our taxi dropped us off). The riad is a little away (about 10 minutes walk) to get to to the center of the main action of the souk and the blue gate. One has to take care to get familiar with the zig zag route to avoid taking a wrong turn. It can be a little confusing. Overall we loved this riad and would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. We enjoyed our breakfasts and the hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts.
