Positive: Location, value, building, security.

Negative: The receptionst knew only about the medina in Fez (apparently), b/c even after using her phone to do google searches she wasn't able to answer our questions about where we could find decent architectural building(not modern, but traditional) We had read on Lonely Planet about the old jewish cartier, with building about 500 years old but the had no idea. Doing some research ourselves, it turns out that that area was.... on the same street with the hotel's name as well: Merinides. Not that it was much to look at, mind you, after all :)

Summary: Good place, ideally located. Staff could be more knowledgeable though.
