Ideally situated in beautiful Menton, ‘La Terrasse du Soleil’ is a wonderfully romantic sea view pied-à-terre in a the ‘Belle Epoque’ building with typical high ceilings and moldings. It is decorated in a Nordic and vintage style and provides everything you need to enjoy a quintessential vacation on the French Riviera.
Our beachside pied-à-terre is located on the famous ‘Promenade du Soleil’ and faces the beach named ‘Plage du Fossan’. It is only a few minutes away from restaurants, museums, Menton’s historic places such as the Basilic, the market and city center. Shopping streets are just a few minutes away…You do not need a car but if you choose so, there are numerous city parkings or an optional parking spot (upon availability & reservation).
‘La Terrasse du Soleil’ will provide you with everything you need to enjoy a quintessential vacation on the French Riviera. Whether you're interested in spending hot Summer days on the beach or on the deck to enjoy a glass of wine & a good book, or walk into town to visit the historical buildings and district, enjoy a great meal or evening entertainment our city has to offer, we know you will love our Riviera escape as much as we do.
This home can accommodate up to 4 guests and has 3 bedrooms
- The master bedroom has 2 twin beds that are linked together so they don't separate and has 2 new pieces of furniture for better storage.
- The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have a single bed. As can be seen on the pictures, the 3rd bedroom is small and has no window opening on to the outside. It is therefore advised for children.
- 1 bathroom with a nice shower with a chic beige marble floor.
- To allow you to travel with light luggage, sheets, shower & beach towels, as well as dish towels are provided. Similarly, to ensure your holiday remains relaxing and to avoid the fatigue of cleaning at the end of your stay, professional cleaning fees (apartment & linens) will be requested upon arrival. 2026 rate: €170 (cash only as we do not have a credit card terminal)
- for travelers with a young child, it is possible to have a baby crib, a baby bathtub & baby transat (upon reservation & availability). Please inquire when booking. You will also appreciate the kid playground (free) that is 150m from the residence.
- a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and of course a fridge, a boiler and a coffee machine (regular French style with paper filter)
- a spacious living area with a large dining table to seat 6 and a TV (fiber) with French and internationales channels.
As we love authentic things, we kept the original, well taken care of, wooden floor in both the livingroom and the kitchen .
From this large room, you access 'La Terrasse' where it is so nice to seat and enjoy a private sunbath or just have a drink watching the beach . Whether it is during the day, late afternoon or in the evening with candle lights, 'La Terrasse' is a privileged place to enjoy Menton.
For the hot sunny summer day, the awing will provide the necessary shade and the outside shower some refreshment..
As it is protected from the main Winter wind, it is also a wonderful spot to enjoy the colorful bright lights of Menton' sunny winter days.
The area also has plenty to offer: from bike treks in the surrounding mountains to visit nearby Monte Carlo, Italy or typical Provençal villages…but you may just want to spend most of your time on the sofas of the beautiful covered sundeck overlooking the ocean and admire the panoramic view of the crystal turquoise Mediterranean …
