Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The house was beautiful and we had everything we needed. Our hosts were very attentive and answered our queries immediately. We stayed in early August 2025.ProsBeautiful settingCalm, quiet and relaxingGreat base to explore the region (beach 15 mins away)Loads of trail running and places to ride bikes.ConsMosquitos were bad, make sure you take DEET to level 4 strength.No air conditioning or fans in 40 degree heat (hence 4 stars not 5). We also didn’t ask for them as we kept thinking the weather would cool down and our hosts said it was rare for it to be so hot (hence no air conditioning as standard).Otherwise a fantastic stay.
