Positive: Exceptional value. Wonderful property with a truly exceptional host. The view from the terrace is terrific, and the architecture of the property inside and out is really something. Absolutely one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed, with one of the most interesting neighborhoods ever. If you have a lot of luggage, or are a larger traveler, this may not be the place for you!

Negative: Breakfast is underwhelming (breads and juice). Note that a couple of the rooms open to the main room/dining area, and the bathroom (at least in my room) does not have a door - so there is limited privacy in the Dar. There are other minor issues that are not worth mentioning, given the price.

Summary: Beautiful experience, incredible value - if light on privacy.
