Summary: Villa Esquilo is perfectly located on a quiet street. It is a 5 minute walk to the beaches and the port which is wonderful. The location is ideal. The pool was lovely - great for young children and was cleaned regularly during our stay. The table and chairs outside were good for outside dining and having a BBQ. The kitchen was well stocked with enough equipment for making meals during our stay. The WIFI was good and we were able to connect easily and watch television (for the football!!). The beds were not very comfortable however, this is only my personal opinion. The air conditioning was great. It worked very well and was quiet in the bedrooms which was good for sleeping. The email contact was very good before arrival. It would be nice to be able to speak to a person on the phone, however that is personal preference. The location of the villa was perfect for a family holiday. It is only a 5 minute walk to the beaches and into the port, where there were lots of restaurants and some shops. The supermarkets were a 5 minute drive away which again was ideal. The street the villa is situated on is in a quiet, residential area. It is next to a dog walking park, so yes, people can see you, but it is not a problem in my opinion. They are not looking at you by the pool! A welcome pack with some essential items such as water, bread, milk, wine would be a nice gesture, especially when arriving late. The villa was wonderful overall and I would recommend visiting this area.
