Meia Praia, the longest beach in the Lagos area at nearly 5 km of unbroken golden sand, is roughly 1.5 km from the apartment, around 5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk along the waterfront. It is sheltered, family-friendly, and lifeguarded in summer. For something more dramatic, Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo are tucked into the limestone cliffs south of the centre, around 10 minutes by car.
