Positive: It was perfect: friendly host, clean, comfortable, very quiet, near to the city center by car and to the motorway. One of the reasons we liked it surely was that we were alone in the apartment, which has three bedrooms (with 2+2+1 beds), and two were empty. So the dining room and both bathrooms (well equipped, one with jet hot tub), were all ours. Good gas heating and warm water supply, well equipped classical kitchen with all the necessary equipment (refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, Bialetti, electric teapot, etc.), Good breakfast (bread, cereals, milk, eggs, butter, wurst, juice, nuts, etc.). Great view on the Trieste harbor from the hill, through the dining room windows, nice terrace. A very nice stylish old restored furniture. A parking directly near the house (however, there are only two parking places available). The B&B "Adam and Eve" is on the first floor. On the second floor of the same house is another B&B apartment "FUSNAR", which was empty at the time.

Negative: The only thing missing in the kitchen was the citrus press, manual one would suffice. During summer season it might get hot, since there is a fan (at the time it was out of order) but no air conditioner. A few bulbs/lamps were missing or out of order. Drivers not experienced with Italian driving style in the narrow, steep streets might consider driving (the last 250 meters) to be a bit difficult.

Summary: A perfect place to stay all year round (except maybe in the hot summer days), for car travelers.
